The JCH Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 organization that exists to assist Jersey Community Hospital in meeting the healthcare needs of your community through fundraising, education and community outreach. When you support the JCH Foundation you are ensuring that access to quality healthcare is close to home and that JCH HealthCare remains a vital part of our thriving community both now and well into the future.

JCH Foundation Programs & Events

The JCH Foundation proudly supports the mission of JCH HealthCare through community programs, fundraising events, and education initiatives that make a lasting impact.

🚑 JCH Foundation Ambulance Association

Supports JCH Emergency Services by raising funds for emergency equipment, public education, and outreach.

Hosts annual fish fry lunches and other community fundraisers.
Offers educational programs for youth, businesses, and individuals on safety and health topics.

🛍️ Hope Chest Resale Shop

Location: 201 S. Jefferson
Hours:

Tuesday–Friday: 9 AM–5 PM
Saturday: 10 AM–3 PM
Donation Drop-Off: Tuesday–Saturday: 10 AM–2 PM

Run entirely by over 70 volunteers, the Hope Chest sells gently used clothing, household items, books, media, and décor. All proceeds support JCH Foundation initiatives.

🎓 Medical Education Fund – Loan/Scholarship Program

Provides financial support to students in Jersey, Calhoun, and Greene counties pursuing degrees in healthcare.

Up to $1,000 per semester for up to 8 semesters.
Loan forgiveness is available for students who return to work full-time in a healthcare role within the Tri-county area.
Also funds EMS continuing education, CNA programs for high school students, and other healthcare education efforts.

⛳ Annual Larry Bear Golf Tournament

Held each spring at a local golf course, this 18-hole tournament is the sole fundraiser for the Medical Education Fund.

🍽️ Annual Fling Dinner & Lucky Duck Derby

Annual Fling Fundraising Dinner
A themed dinner event featuring entertainment, auctions, and community gathering.

Lucky Duck Derby – Race for the Rescue
A family-friendly event held at Raging Rivers Waterpark in 2022 and 2023.

Features a rubber duck race to raise funds for new ambulances.
Has raised almost $140,000 in the first 3 years
